Happy #DouglassWeek 2024, everyone!

We are thrilled to welcome you to this year’s event series in Belfast, Northern Ireland, with additional events in Cork, Ireland, Rochester, NY, USA and online around the globe. Throughout the week, we aim to highlight the legacy of Frederick Douglass, the Douglass family and other changemakers, and also to discuss the many contemporary, related topics that relate to Frederick Douglass and the impact of his life and work on issues such as identity, race and equal rights. As always, the themes of connectivity, co-creation and collaboration remain central to our programming and activities.

• 2) Click the individual LINKS for the daily schedules - each link will lead you to an overview of the specific date which will include more information about the day, such as content, times and locations for both virtual and in-person events in Belfast

• 3) Scroll to the bottom of the page to find an overview calendar, click the arrow at the top right to navigate to April to see the week of events for #DW2024

• Virtual events are posted in UK/Irish Standard Time (UK/IRL) and Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), all in-person events are posted in the specific time zones of their location
