Sponsorship Opportunities

We are pleased to offer sponsorship and other support opportunities for the 5th annual #DouglassWeek, taking place in Boston, MA, USA in fall 2025 and virtually around the globe. The seven days of talks, walks, performances and other events celebrate the legacy of Frederick Douglass in Belfast and highlight ongoing efforts to work for freedom, inclusion and equality.

Your support will help enable our partners and participants to join us and lend their talents and perspective to our #DouglassWeek events. You’ll also be supporting our growing #DouglassWeek Host Cities network, connecting Boston with Belfast, Cork, Washington, DC, Rochester, NY and beyond. We are happy to discuss more tailored opportunities as well as support for individual events and outreach in addition to our closing evening performance event detailed below. ALL SPONSORS RECEIVE: 

  • Admission to and recognition at our annual centerpiece #DouglassWeek event, Harmonies of Freedom, a special evening of performances and readings. The show will feature Douglass family members and other #DW participants alongside local musicians, dancers and community leaders. Performances will be led by the creative team of Belfast singer/songwriter Sarah McCreedy and Broadway artists and actors Paul Oakley Stovall (Hamilton) and Nikhil Saboo (Mean Girls, Dear Evan Hansen) performing their own original songs exploring Frederick Douglass's travels throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland as well as songs from the Broadway-bound musical American Prophet.

  • Invitations to the pre-show VIP reception and branding throughout the reception space included with all sponsorships; see below for sponsorship level details.

  • Branding and recognition in all #DW communications and marketing materials, online and on signage and in delivered remarks at all other in-person events.
