Douglass’s life reminds us that the struggle for freedom and equity is not bound to one country or one century. His journeys to the UK and Ireland connected him with allies abroad, and his words still resonate across the Atlantic today. That global spirit of solidarity is at the heart of #DouglassWeek which began, as you know, in Ireland and now reaches audiences worldwide.
