As we approach #DouglassWeek 2025, we’re launching a new series to honor one of the most powerful voices in American history, #FrederickDouglass: “Did You Know… A Day in the Life of Frederick Douglass”!

Throughout the summer and early fall, we’ll highlight significant moments in time from Frederick Douglass’ extraordinary life—his battles for justice, bold speeches, global travels, family struggles and revolutionary actions.
